description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fatigue of inspector's eyes and improve inspection accuracy and inspection efficiency, by transferring a container in an overhung state on a conveyor, and inspecting the container while being illuminated by a light guide emitting parallel beams. SOLUTION: A chuck 34 of each container-holding mechanism 26 is opened at an upstream end of a conveyor 22. A neck part of a container 38 transferred in a horizontally laid state is inserted between the chucks 34 and carried on in an overhung state in association with the movement of the conveyor 22. At an inspection area, since a guide groove 66 is lower, a front end of a rotary shaft 30 is inclined upward and the container 38 is inclined with the neck part directed down. As a result, a liquid agent contained in the container 38 flows. If a foreign article is mixed inside, the foreign article flows towards a cap and is easily confirmed owing to parallel beams projected from downward by a light guide 71. Since there is set only a magnifier 81 below the container 38, nothing obstructs a view field and the foreign article can be discovered with ease even if it is very small. |
