description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a decorative stained-glass (zyuraku) material that is hard to be scored with chalk marks and has excellent abrasion resistance by spraying aggregates composed of porous mineral particles on to a base sheet, bonding the aggregates to the base sheet, and laminating a fibrous sheet to the base sheet. SOLUTION: This decorative zyuraku material is obtained by spraying a surface of a base sheet 11, such as backing paper composed mainly of pulp and/or glass fibers, with aggregates 12 that are composed of mineral granules of 0.3-5.0mm in particle size produced by mixing mineral powder such as glass with water, rounding the mixture to granules and firing the granules, and have a number of cavities inside, volumetric mass of 200g/l, and water absorption of 2-10wt.% after 24-hour immersion in water. Then, on the laminated aggregate layer 16, a fibrous sheet 15 of 40g/m or less basis weight, including a thin cloth such as victoria lawn, nonwoven fabric and mica paper, is laminated into one piece, thus obtaining a decorative zyraku (stained glass) material.
