SOLUTION: The body 2 of a verticality indicator is arranged to contact the corner 1a of a steel frame member 1 and the handle 6 is rotated to the direction shown by the arrow mark and the magnet of a detachable unit 5 is positioned to contact the steel frame member 1 to fit the indicator body 2 to the frame body 1. When the electric source is put on in this state, the signal 8a of the inclined angle of the two axes output from a biaxial clinometer 8 is amplified in a clinometer amplifier 9 and selectively distributed in a light- emission threshold selection circuit 12. Either light-emission element 3a-3n, or 4a-4n of respective light-emission bodies 3, 4 in X and Y directions is illuminated in accordance with the level of signal 8a. If the steel frame member 1 is vertical in this time, only the light-emission elements 3a or 4a emits light. When the frame member is inclined to either right or left side, the light-emission elements 3b-3n or 4b-4n emit light. |
