description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate moving tape guide positioning device which does not need positioning accuracy for a contact member so much by bringing the moving tape guide into contart with the upper surface of a base plate on its rear side and with the lower surface of the same on its front side. SOLUTION: First contact part 10c provided on the rear lower surface of a moving tape guide 10 and a third contact part 10e provided on the lower surface of a leg part 10k are brought into contact with the upper surface 1d of a base plate. Further, a second contact part 10d provided on the upper surface of a projecting part 10j is brought into contact with the lower surface sharing the same plane with the attached surface of a contact member attached to the upper surface 1d of the base plate and thus this is in contact with the upper surface 1d of the base plate. Thus, the position and posture of the moving tape guide 10 within a surface vertical to the base plate decided only by the contact parts 10c, 10d and 10e is not influenced by a difference in plate thickness caused when they come into contact with both of the upper and lower surface 1d and 1e of the base plate, and by using the high accurate plane as it is, highly accurate positioning is performed.
