DOCUMENT PREPARING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an original document from being altered by a person other than a person preparing original document information by comparing document setter's information with corrector's information, and when the contents of both the information coincide with each other, permitting the corrector to correct the document. SOLUTION: In the case of correcting document information by the document writer himself (or herself), the document information data are inputted from an input part 11, document information to be corrected is read out from a storage part 13 and its heading is displayed on a display part 16. Then corrector's information corresponding to the document information is inputted and sent to a corrector comparing part 14 through a main control part 12. The main control part 12 sends preparetor's information also stored in the storage part 13 to the comparing part 14. The comparing part 14 receiving these information compares both the information and sends its compared output to a correction permission judging part 15. When the contents of both the information coincide with each other, the judging part 15 permits the execution of correction. The document to be corrected is corrected based upon the permission. After appending a heading such as the sort of correction, a setter and a date to the corrected document, the document is stored in the storage part 13. If the contents of both the information are different from each other as the result of comparison, the judging part 15 inhibits correction, so that correction processing can not be executed.
