HEATER CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a heater controller capable of suppressing the effect of a fricker caused by a voltage drop of a power source due to a rush current. SOLUTION: This controller is the heater controller supplying an AC power source to a heater 4 according to a heater on signal, and is provided with a zero cross detection circuit 5 detecting the timing of the zero cross of the phase of the power source 1, a drive pulse generation circuit 6 receiving the heater on signal from the outside, generating a half wave driving signal and a full wave driving signal for making perform AC half wave drive immediately after heater-on and making perform AC full wave drive after a fixed time and selectively generating and outputting a half wave driving pulse according to the half wave driving signal and a full wave driving pulse according to the full wave driving signal at the timing of the detected zero cross and a switching means switching the AC half wave drive and the AC full wave drive and supplying the power source 1 to the heater 4.
