Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesia cement compsn. with a promoted hardening rate and its hardening method, to provide a carbonaceous formed product having good adsorptivity for gas, its production method, and further to provide a spray coating material containing the magnesia cement. SOLUTION: This magnesia cement compsn. is obtd. by compounding a magnesium silicate in a magnesia cement. In the hardening method of the magnesia cement, a water-based kneaded material comprising a magnesia cement, magnesium silicate and water is hardened. A carbonaceous formed body is produced in which a carbonaceous material is integrated into one body with a hardened material of the magnesia cement or the magnesia cement compsn.
