VOICE MAIL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an undesired voice message before recording is disable by comparing a detected recording capacity value with a storage recording capacity and informing a normal or a warning message based on the criterion. SOLUTION: When a recording request comes from an extension terminal equipment 13a, a recording request command is fed to a central control section 18 via a line circuit 14a. A control section 18 sends the command to a storage control section 15 by a program of a storage section 19 and to a voice storage section 22. Then the transmission of a voice message from the storage section 22 to an extension terminal equipment is requested and when the voice message reaches the storage section via a line circuit 14a and a line container section 21, recording is conducted. Then a measurement start signal is sent from a storage central control section 26 to a recording capacity count section 29 and measurement is started. When the central control section 26 receives a check request of the recording capacity, it is fed to a comparison judgement section 28, the comparison result and the recording capacity of the storage section 22 are compared and a warning notice signal or a normal notice signal is fed to the control section 26 according to the result.
