Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize highly accurate measurement by disposing a molten metal interface detection coil farther rearward than the forward end of an immersion molten metal probe made of a paper tube. SOLUTION: A molten metal interface detection coil 2 is interposed between a molten metal temperature measuring unit 4 and a molten metal sampling case 3 in a probe body 1 made of a paper tube. The unit 4 is applied with a metal cap 5 for protecting the unit 4 against thermal and mechanical impact at the time of immersion. In order to prevent the coil 2 from capturing the flux from the cap 5 or case 3, they are spaced apart by about 5mm or more. A coil 2 having ferrite core is employed, for example, and the number of turns is decreased. It is arranged in parallel with the surface of molten metal and the flux density is increased in the direction of molten metal in order to enhance the detection sensitivity. Since the probe body 1 made of paper tube exhibits high thermal insulation and does not disturb the flux, highly accurate measurement can be realized. |
