Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of molten metal and to lessen dross intrusion by discharge the molten metal supplied via a perforated plate into an inside box from slits through the passages between this box and an outside box and passing a steel strip through these double boxes. SOLUTION: The molten metal is filled in a vessel 6 for holding the molten metal and the steel sheet 3 is made to travel perpendicularly upward through the inside thereof, by which both surfaces thereof are plated. The vessel 6 for holding the metallic material of the apparatus for producing the hot zip metal coated steel sheet is formed as the double boxes having the slit-like openings in the bottom. The inner side thereof is partitioned by the perforated plate 9 arranged to face the steel strip 3 to form an inside chamber and an outside chamber. The outside chamber is provided with a supply port 7 and the inside chamber wall is provided with the slits near the side ends of the steel sheet. The molten metal supplied from the supply port 7 is passed toward the steel sheet 3 through the perforated plate 9 and is sucked and discharged from the slits through the passages 8 on the outer side. After the molten metal is purified by a filter, etc., the molten metal is again circulated and supplied to the supply port 7. |
