Successively, by retracting a rod 31 of a vertically extending/retracting cylinder 32, a periphery increasing plate 16 is retracted into the molding flask 12 along a sliding plate 40 of a horizontal beam 21, the periphery increasing plate 16 is peeled off from the inner peripheral face of castable refractory 13. Next, a rod 29 of an extending/retracting cylinder 28 is retracted and left/right part molding flasks 17, 18 are turned inward around a hinge 25 and are peeled off from the inner peripheral face of prepared unshaped refractory 13. At this time, because a thick shell 19 having large rigidity is placed at the contact face with the prepared unshaped refractory 13, strain is hard to be generated on the shell.
