AT-HOME AUCTION PARTICIPATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide an at-home auction participation system capable of participating in an auction while staying at home without going to an auction market. CONSTITUTION:The auction market is provided with a video camera 1 for projecting auction items, an auction input device 3 for inputting auction information, a data processor 2 for converting video signals to digital signals, data- processing them along with the auction information or the like from the input device and converting them to digital communication signals and a digital exchange 4 for connecting the data processor to plural digital telephone lines. An at-home auction participant's house is provided with a data input device 11 for inputting purchase data such as an ID number and a puchase lot number, etc., an at-home auction terminal 12 for obtaining the auction information from the digital telephone line and sending out data signals from the data input device to the digital telephone line and a display device 13 for displaying the auction information. The auction market and the plural auction participant's houses are connected by the digital telephone lines and the auction is performed.
