description | PURPOSE:To provide a character code conversion processing system which is capable of generating large quantity of characters even if the system has a little capacity. CONSTITUTION:In a character code conversion processing system which is provided with a character code Co composed of a high-order byte Bx and a low-order byte By, retrives the address on the CG area 20 corresponding to the character code and extracts an object character, the system is composed of a high-order byte table 1 where a state flag showing whether characters are continuously arrayed on the CG area 20 is written in the area corresponding to the specified high-order byte Bx of the high-order byte table 1 and the offset value of the address on the CG area 20 belonging to the high-order byte Bx is further written when the state flag show a 'continuity', a discrimination means 3 discriminating whether patterns are continuous on the CG area 20 based on the state flag and an arithmetic means 4 calculating the address on the CG area 20 corresponding to the high-order byte By by the high-order byte By and the offset value when the state flag shows the continuity. |
