DRIVING REGULATION OF MOTOR IN REVERSING ROTATION OF RING RAIL OF LOOM AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To reduce the impact when reversing the rotation of a ring rail and also to shorten the time of its low speed portion which becomes a problem as the stagnation of the ring rail. CONSTITUTION: This method for regulating the driving of a motor when reversing the rotation of a ring rail of a loom comprises regulating and changing the speed of a driving motor 14 for a lifting device at the reversing action of a ring rail 8, reducing the speed of the driving motor until it reaches to a prescribed speed at zero or in the vicinity of zero in plural steps when the ring rail reaches the position of starting the reversing motion, and then accelerating it until it reaches to the prescribed speed after reversing the direction of the rotation of the motor in plural steps. The gradient of changing speed in reducing the speed is regulated so as to become gradually large and in accelerating the speed so as to become gradually small. That is, the gradient of changing speed in a small absolute value of the speed becomes large and the gradient of changing speed in a large absolute value of the speed becomes small. As a result, a shock and a vibration accompanying therewith at the reversing of the rotation become small. Also, even if the time for changing speed until the completion of the reversing motion is kept similarly to the conventional one, the time of the low speed portion, where the speed of the ring rail in a stagnation becomes the vicinity of zero, becomes short.
