NOXIOUS LIFE CONTROLLING AGENT AND STABILIZATION OF NOXIOUS LIFE CONTROLLING AGENT

PURPOSE: To obtain a noxious life controlling agent having long-term storage stability by adding a specific stabilizing agent to a system containing gelatinized starch. CONSTITUTION: Gelatinized starch is incorporated with a phosphoric acid salt as a stabilizer and further with a surfactant and water. As necessary, a preparation assistant such as an anti-freezing agent is added to the system. The phosphoric acid salt is preferably an acidic alkali metal salt or an acidic ammonium salt, especially dipotassium hydrogen phosphate and its amount is preferably 0.5-10wt.% based on the total composition. The gelatinized starch is produced by gelatinizing natural starch obtained from potato, sweet potato, wheat, corn, tapioca, sago, rice, etc., or processed starch obtained by various treatments of the above starch. The gelatinization treatment is carried out by hot-water treatment, etc. The amount of the gelatinized starch is 0.5-10wt.% based on the total composition. The surfactant is e.g. dialkyl sulfosuccinate and its amount is 0.5-10wt.% based on the total composition.
