FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT AND NETWORK SYSTEM USING IT

PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile equipment and a network system in which a transmitted and received original is possible to be preserved as character information, a paperless operation is performed by printing only a necessary original and the workability at the time of transmission and reception can be improved. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is the facsimile equipment composed by adding a disk device 2 preserving reception contents, a display 3 displaying reception contents and an operation panel 4 operating reception contents, etc., to a facsimile main body transmitting and receiving an original. In addition to a transmission function and a reception function, a conversion part 13 converting the signal demodulated on a reception side into character information and an information control part 14 performing controls such as these conversions, etc., are provided. This converted character information is stored in a disk device 2. Based on the control by the information control part 14, the display on the display 3, and the record, the output or the display, etc., of character information by the operation panel 4 is possible.
