FIRE ALARM FACILITIES

PURPOSE: To prevent the display of a following fire display from being disabled even when a fire display in the middle is broken down by reading a display instruction from a storage means with a fire receiver, sending that instruction and performing display for showing fire information on the respective fire displays. CONSTITUTION: A fire receiver RE transmits character code data read from a data base for display from a transmission/reception circuit TRX 2 to a signal line LR for fire display as a transmissive signal together with an address. Each fire display responds to this transmitted signal and outputs the character code data to a signal processing circuit 28 inside a fire display R1, and this signal processing circuit 28 converts the character code data to characters and displays them on an LCD 26. At the fire display R1, a display address is not ordinarily used between the received display address and character code data. When an EEPROM 25 storing the data base for display is provided at the fire display R1, however, display is performed based on the display address without using any character code data.
