Above an optical sensor 33, a stick type operation part 34 having a reflecting plate 45 at its lower end is supported on the top surface of a keyboard 37 in a free slanting and a free upward/downward movable state across a rubber-made support part 51 having elasticity. Light emitted by an LED 30 is reflected by the reflecting plate 45 to be projected on PSDs 31 and 32 and the tilt state and vertical position of the operation part 34 are detected from their output currents and outputted as three-dimensional information to a computer main body to move the cursor of a display device of a computer main body in three dimensions.
