SOLUTION: A transversely extending beam 10 actuated by two camshafts 2, 3 extended in parallel to each other is arranged on a cylinder head 1, for saving space and attaining simple actuation with precise time adjustment of a fuel pump 7 of a pump nozzle unit 6.
