Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To perform superior muting control by suppressing an acoustic feedback system or the like formed between a speaker and a first sensor microphone. CONSTITUTION:A microphone M1 for extraction of information of a propagated acoustic wave is provided on the noise source side of a propagation passage, and a microphone M2 for evaluation of the muting effect due to acoustic wave interference is provided below the microphone M1, and a speaker S as the additional sound source is provided on the pipe wall between microphones M1 and M2. A unidirectional microphone and a nondirectional microphone are used as microphones M1 and M2 respectively for the purpose of suppressing the acoustic feedback. Electroacoustic transducers M1 and M2 and the speaker S are so installed that the distance between the speaker S and the microphone M1 is longer than that between the speaker S and the microphone M2. The propagation passage between the speaker S and the microphone M1 is lined with a sound-absorbing material 14 made of glass wool or the like.
