The metallic blade member 24 is mounted to the substrate 18, and the source/plate part 24a is set at a selected distance from a detection plate 18b on the substrate. An acceleration state response sensor 10 is disposed in a cylindrical housing 12 which can be directly mounted to a circuit board via a terminal pin or can be provided with a screw member. A slot 24c forms a pair of torsion arms connected to the beam means 24b improving the sensitivity of the blade member 24.
