Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To see that bacilli, waterdrops, etc., do not remain within an exhaust pipe by stopping an out-mouth vacuum device after stoppage of a specified time at the time of turning off of an instrument, in a dental unit which is so arranged as to operate the out-mouth vacuum device, interlocking with the on-off of the dental instrument. CONSTITUTION: This dental out-mouth vacuum device has a suction port 5, which is arranged shiftably in the vicinity of the mouth of a patient, and a combined arm mechanism and exhaust pipe 6 which supports the suction part shiftably. The intake operation of the suction port 5 is started and stopped, interlocking with the start and stop of an instrument for dental treatment. At that time, the stop of the intake operation of the suction port 5 is performed after passage of a specified time after stop of the instrument for dental treatment.
