Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To automatize the judgment of welding defect by using the judgment of welding conditions and the judgment by picture processing jointly. CONSTITUTION: An arithmetic controller 27 is constituted so that when welding state signals 12, 18 to 20, 47 from welding state detecting devices 11, 14 to 16, 45 provided in a welding device 1 exceed the range of appropriate welding condition 26 set in an input device 25, picture signals 22 from a photographing device 13 provided toward a welding groove 8 are picture-processed with a picture processing device 45 only by behind and before several frames out of the range, thereby judging whether the welding is defective or not.
