CONSTITUTION: A position detection circuit 4 outputs a position detection signal from an induced voltage wave of a motor 3. A waveform generating section 20 turns a switching element 2A ON to perform PWM control during 30 deg. and then turns the switching element ON continuously during 60 deg. thereafter performs PWM control again during 30 deg.. At that time, a carrier generating section 17 and an ON-duty setting section 18 generates a PWM pattern. When the PWM is set at the forward and rear parts of 120 deg. conduction, the current waveform rises smoothly.
