THIAZOLINE DERIVATIVE

PURPOSE: To obtain a thiazoline derivative useful for preventing and treating thrombosis, cerebral infarction, cardiac infarction, etc., and having suppressing actions on blood platelets agglutination for administration. CONSTITUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R is preferably hydroxyl group; R is preferably methyl; R is preferably H; (n) is an integer of 2-9], e.g. N-(2-carboxyethyl)-2- 4-[N-(3-carboxypropyl)amidino]- benzoylimino}-3,4-dimethyl-3H-thiazoline-5-carboxamide. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II (R is a 1-6C alkyl group) with an alkylating agent such as a compound of the formula, R -X (X is a halogen; R is a 1-14C alkyl group, etc.) or the formula, R 2 SO4 (R is same as that described above) or a sulfonic acid ester of the formula, R SO4 R (R is same as that described above; R is an alkyl group or an aryl group), e.g. methanesulfonic acid in the presence of a base.
