description PURPOSE:To provide the radio FAX (facsimile) equipment by avoiding the reception of a FAX signal when a received radio wave is weak and preventing that many communication errors take place because of the weak received wave and the number of re-transmission times of FAX data is increased thereby extending the communication time over the required time. CONSTITUTION:The equipment is provided with a field intensity measurement means 37 measuring the field intensity of a received radio wave as to whether or not the intensity of the received radio wave has a level at which a FAX signal is received in a state that the frequency of occurrence of communication errors is less at the arrival of the FAX signal to measure the field intensity of the received radio wave at the arrival of the FAX signal, and the means 37 allows the reception of the FAX signal only when the intensity of the received radio wave has a level at which the FAX signal is received in a state that frequency of occurrence of communication errors is less at the arrival of the FAX signal and it is prevented that lots of communication errors take place because of the weak received wave and number of re-transmission times of FAX data is increased thereby extending the communication time over the required time.
