THERMOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in low temperature curing property and useful as a coating for cars and cans, etc., fiber-processing agent, etc., by blending a specific block polyisocyanate with a specific polyhydroxy compound in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition is obtained by blending (A) a blocked polyisocyanate obtained by blocking the terminal isocyanate of a polyisocyanate obtained from an aliphatic and/or alicyclic diisocyanate with a heat-releasable blocking agent with (B) a polyhydroxy compound having 1500-100000 number- average molecular weight and 10-300 hydroxyl number and expressed by the formula [R1 is main chain structure of polyol; (m) is an integer of >=1; (n1) is an integer of >=2; X is a group obtained by bonding one or more kinds of >=6 atoms selected from a group consisting of C, O, N or Si as a truck chain constituting X by a chemical bond such as alkyl bond] so that an equivalent ratio of isocyanate to hydroxyl group regenerated in dissociation of a blocking agent may be (95:5) to (5:95).
