RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin compsn. excellent in slipperiness, antistatic properties, flame retardance, and heat resistance by compounding a specific thermoplastic polyorganosiloxane resin, a specific functional (rubber-modified) thermoplastic resin, a polyamide elastomer, and a flame retardant. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyorganosiloxane resin obtd. by polymerizing at least one monomer selected from an arom. vinyl compd., a vinyl cyanide compd., etc., in the presence of a polyorganosiloxane by modified cocondensing with a graft crosslinking agent or 100 pts.wt. mixture of the thermoplastic polyorganosiloxane resin with a (rubber-modified) thermoplastic resin obtd. by polymerizing the above monomer in the absence (presence) of a rubbery polymer other than the modified polyorganosiloxane, (B) 1-30 pts.wt. mixture of a functional (rubber-modified) thermoplastic resin obtd. by polymerizing a monomer component contg. a functional vinyl monomer in the absence (presence) of the rubbery polymer with an elastomer such as a polyamide, and (C) 0-40 pts.wt. flame retardant.
