Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To make it possible to simultaneously and independently control plural AV equipments by one remote controller by displaying a menu icon for an AV equipment to be controlled and selecting and executing a required menu function. CONSTITUTION: When a menu displaying key 300 on a remote controller 100 is depressed, an inherent code signal of the key 300 is transmitted through a 1st transmission means 306. The signal transmitted through the means 306 is received by a 1st receiving means 308 in a remote control repeating installation 102. A control means 316 recognizes the signal received by the means 308 and instructs a display means 310 to display a menu. The execution of the menu is performed by transmitting menu code signals stored in the repeating installation 102 to respective AV equipments 104a, 104b,..., 104n.
