Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a method for drying leaf tobacco by which the drying can uniformly be carried out at a low cost without requiring much labor and taking much time in hanging operations. CONSTITUTION:This method for drying leaf tobacco is to place the leaf tobacco in nets for drying the leaf tobacco equipped with a bottom plate 1 having a mesh size so as not to thrust the side of a leaf base of leaf tobacco (T) therethrough, side nets 2, located on the side of both ends of the bottom plate 1 and having a mesh size so that the leaf tobacco (T) may not fall, and further cylindrical suspension pipes 3 for hanging the side nets 2 wrapping the leaf tobacco attached to the tops of the side nets 2, and dry the leaf tobacco.
