description PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of electromagnetic waves generated from all places on an eyeball while keeping a visual field by positioning a transparent protective plate provided with a transparent conductive layer in the vicinity of the eyeball by a holding frame. CONSTITUTION:A glass plate 2 being a transparent protective plate having a conductive membrane of tin oxide being a transparent conductive layer, that is, a NESA membrane 2a provided to the surface thereof is attached to the rim part 1a of a glasses frame 1 being a holding frame. The NESA membrane 2a is provided by the vapor deposition of tin oxide or the reaction of tin chloride gas with oxygen gas. In both cases, a slightly brownish transparent conductive membrane is formed. When the glass plate 2 is positioned in the vicinity of an eyeball, the conductive membrane 2a reduces the effect of an electromagnetic wave on the eyeball. Since the conductive membrane 2a and the glass plate 2 have transparency, a visual field is kept. By this constitution, the effect of an electromagnetic wave on an eyeball can be reduced while a visual field is kept.
