CORE MATERIAL OF FELT-TIP PEN AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To provide the core material of a felt-tip pen in which writing property and mechanical characteristics such as stiffness are excellent and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION:The core material of a felt-tip pan is constituted of a multilayer laminate as a base body in which both a reinforcing layer 7 consisting of a web compounded of a short fiber and a joinable resin and a main liquid- supplying layer 6 consisting of the web of the short fiber are alternately laminated and integrated (the interface of the main liquid-supplying layer and the reinforcing layer becomes a joining interface 8) and the main liquid-supplying layers are arranged in both the outermost layers. The core material of the felt-tip pen has many continuous pores 5 piercing to the surface in the other side of the laminate from the surface in one side thereof. The core material of the felt-tip pen is manufactured by alternately overlapping the reinforcing layer consisting of the web compounded of short fiber and uncored joinable resin and the main liquid-supplying layer consisting of the web of short fiber and laminating the main liquid-supplying layers so as to arrange them on the surface layers and performing thermal press forming as these are, or after joining and treating the intersurface of both layers.
