ON-LINE GRINDING SLEEVE FOR WRAPPER ROLL OF BAND COILING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the deformation of a cylindrical grinding body and facilitate the adjustment of grinding range by providing an inner cylinder to be mounted/fixed on the outer circumference of a mandrel and plural annular grinding units fitted in the outside of the inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The grinding sleeve 1 consisted of annular plural grinding units 5 fitted in the outside of an inner cylinder 4 mounted on a mandrel 2 of coiling device, while pressing a wrapper roll 3 on the outer circumference of the grinding sleeve, on-line grinding is executed. A width of the inner cylinder 4 is longer than a barrel length of the wrapper roll 3, a thickness of the inner cylinder is of the thickness enough to have toughness so that a tensile strain value generated by an expanding force of the coiling device mandrel 2 to be mounted is smaller than an allowable strain value of grinding material. A width in axial direction of the cylinder of the annular grinding unit 5 is of a length appropriately/equally dividing a width of the inner cylinder 4, further, when a profile of the grinding sleeve is changed while changing an outer diameter of the annular grinding unit 5, a width suitable to form profile is selected.
