description PURPOSE:To output a unified signal having the correct value all the time even if the DC resistance value of each coil provided in a detector is changed by ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:When first and second resistance-value detecting circuits 9 and 10 are connected to a detector 2, the DC resistance values of first and second detecting coils 11 and 12 constituting the above described detector 2 are measured with the first and second resistance-value detecting circuits 9 and 10, and the correcting signal is formed. When a bridge circuit 6 is connected to the detector 2, the gap between a turbine generator vehicle chamber 13 and a rotor 14 is measured with the detector 2. The detected AC signal, which is obtained by the measuring operation, is rectified with a rectifying circuit 5. Then, the value is corrected based on a voltage '+3 V', which is prest with an adding circuit 6 beforehand, and the correcting signals outputted from the first and second resistance-value detecting circuits 9 and 10, and the unified signal of 1-5 VDC is formed.
