Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a mechanism for operating a compacting and soil covering wheels in a seedling transplanter excellent in working properties and operating efficiency by constituting the mechanism so as to enable upper and lower regulating operations of the compacting and soil covering wheels from an operating part installed on one side of a transplanter body. CONSTITUTION:This mechanism for operating a compacting wheel 160 and soil covering wheels 170 is constituted so as to perform the upper and lower regulating operations of the compacting wheel 160 and soil covering wheels 170 from an operating part installed on one side of a transplanter body (A) in a transplanter obtained by connecting the transplanter body to the rear of a mobile car body and respectively installing the compacting wheel 160 and soil covering wheels 170 in front and rear so as to enable the free upper and lower regulation in the transplanter body (A).
