HIGH FREQUENCY SEALABLE LAMINATE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To provide three layer laminate and its manufacturing method, which has a high frequency sealing property and is superior also in flexibility and strength. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate layer is (1) an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer, and other two layers which adjoin the intermediate layer are a multi-component copolymer consisting of ethylene, radical-polymerizable acid anhydride, and a radical-polymerizable comonomer other than said anhydride. The three layer laminate consists of an ethylene copolymer being composed of (a) 50-99wt.% of a unit deriving from ethylene, (b) 0.1-5wt.% of a unit deriving from a radical- polymerizable acid anhydride, and (c) 10-50wt.% of a unit deriving from other radical-polymerizable comonomer. For the manufacturing method, the three layer laminate is formed by co-extrusion.
