On the other hand, a garbage treating device 5 is installed with the rotating blade 8 atop a rotating plate 7 rotated by a motor 6 and is disposed with the annular stationary blade 9 enclosing the blade. The garbage 4 is thrown into the garbage collecting bag 3 and the' bag is charged into a treating chamber 11 from the feed port 10 of the sink 2 at the point C a specified amt. of the garbage is stored therein. The charged garbage collecting bag 3 is thereafter blown to the inner peripheral surface of the stationary blade 9 by the centrifugal force of the rotating plate 7 and the garbage 4 is held between the blade and the rotating blade 8 and is thereby pulverized. As a result, the treatment of the garbage 4 is executed without directly contacting with the garbage 4 in a high efficiency even with one kind of the garbage 4.
