description | PURPOSE:To effectively preserve water quality in a dam by laying an air bubble- generating pipeline having a hole for injecting the air bubble in the vicinity of the submerged base of a water-storage dam and force-feeding air into the air bubble-generating pipeline to generate numerous air bubbles from the base of the water-storage dam. CONSTITUTION:Air feeders 6-8 instaled on the top face of a concrete wall 2 are mainly constituted of an air force-feeding means such as a compressor. Air bubble-generating pipelines 9-11 are connected to the respective air feeders 6-8 and fixedly provided on the submerged base in a dam 1 at the proper intervals. Compressed air is fed into the respective air bubble-generating pipelines 9-11 by actuating the respective air feeders 6-8. Large parts of compressed air are discharged into water in the dam 1 through the midway holes 12. While these are floated as the air bubbles, these are continuously brought into contact with water in the dam 1 and oxygen contained in water is increased. Thereby decomposition of miscellaneous germs is activated by bacteria and water quality in the water-storage dam is preserved. |
