description PURPOSE:To transfer an article without the occurrence of positional slippage by sandwichedly holding the article mounted on a taking in and out body on both sides in a moving direction through a clamping means during the movement of a moving body. CONSTITUTION:An article receiving body 100 receives an article 20 and delivers it onto each receiving shelf, or takes it out of the receiving shelf and delivers it by combining the lateral movement of a base saddle, the vertical movement of an ascending body 80 and the longitudinal movement of a taking in and out body 90. The article 20 delivered between the article receiving body 100 and the taking in and out body 90 is guided by the guide member 115 of a clamping means 110 in the case of its delivery, and mounted on a correct mounting position. The article 20 mounted on the taking in and out body 90 is sandwichedly held on both sides in the moving direction of the base saddle by the clamping tool 114 of the clamping means 110. Thus the occurrence of the positional slippage of the article mounted on the taking in and out body 90 can be surely prevented during the movement of the article receiving body 100, and the article can therefore be smoothly delivered and taken in and out.
