PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL TRANSPORT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a laser beam from finding its way into a user due to the erroneous action of a laser beam source by using a link mechanism for allowing a nip roller to come in contact with and leave an exposure drum, installing a shutter along with a link which constitutes the link mechanism and activating the shutter to enter and clear out of a laser beam optical path by drive of the link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 78 is arranged so that at least, a pair of links 84a whose link mechanisms 76a arranged at both ends of the nip rollers 72, 74 correspond to each other, are connected together, using the link mechanism 76a which allows the nip rollers 72, 74 to come in contact with and leave an exposure drum 70. The shutter 78 is parked from the optical path of a laser beam L when the nip rollers 72, 74 come in contact with the exposure drum 70 by action of the link mechanism 76a. Further, the shutter 78 enters the optical path of the laser beam L when the nip rollers 72, 74 have left the exposure drum 70. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the laser beam from being emitted into the eye of a user, even if the laser beam source for recording an image is erroneously activated.
