Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To changeover from the bearing mode with roller, where micro- displacement of a beam in the horizontal direction is admitted, to the bearing mode with pin where the displacement is restricted. and vice versa. CONSTITUTION:A variable rigidity part 21 is formed in a beam support 10, and a fluid sealing space 27 is formed in this variable rigidity part 21, and a piston rod having a partitioning wall for bounding the space 27 is projected at the side of a base block and inserted into the space 27 which is filled with an electrorheological fluid containing dielectric particles. Between two spaces of this fluid sealing space 27 bounded by the partition wall, a communication path is formed to generate communication between the two, and an electrode is installed in this communication path.
