Then, a correctable block flag EF0 and an uncorrectable block flag EF1 are added to each block, and an uncorrectable frame flag EF2 is added to every frame. An interpolation circuit 21 checks these flags and when no uncorrectable block is included in the current frame, the data of all the blocks in the current block are adopted. On the other hand, when the uncorrectable block is included in the current frame, the data of those blocks are not adopted during the period when the prescribed number of blocks following to the uncorrectable block or the error corrected block are continued without error, and data are interpolated with the preceding value.
