description | PURPOSE:To carry out accurate judgment of the rail condition immediately while a machine is traveling by causing a computer to make judgment of the rail condition based on the gravimetry value at a detected position of the traveling vehicle, which position is detected by means of using a position detecting cable and an antenna. CONSTITUTION:A traveling machine detects the rail condition while the machine is traveling by means of a load cell 7 taking the strain of the reaction generated on a spring 8. In other words, the load fluctuation quantity found by the load cell 7 responding to the difference of level between the right and left rails and the vertical waviness of the rails in the traveling direction are successively measured as strains. The strains are converted into load through a transducer 9. The position of the traveling machine is detected by a cable 3 and an antenna 4. Signals from a computer 11 on the ground and judgment result indicating signals transmitted from a computer 10 provided on the traveling machine are received by an operation station 12 where judgment result containing position signals, or in other words, judgment result of each position are produced. Thus judgment of the rail condition is carried out successively. |
