TURNING CONTROL FOR WORKTABLE OF CYLINDRICAL GRINDER AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To improve the precision in the grinding processing by correctly stopping a worktable at a specific position by installing a switch circuit device which operates a switch and transmits an output when the turning quantity of the worktable reaches a set turning quantity. CONSTITUTION:When a worktable 2 stops at a position deflected from the zero point of turning quantity, a turn drive device 4 is operated to turn the worktable 2 in the direction of arrow (d). In this process, an attached metal body 7 makes contact with a detection element 21b and shifts the detection element 21b to the input side. When the detection element 21b is shifted to a special position, a switch circuit device 39 outputs the first switch output, and in relation to the switch output, the turning speed of the worktable 2 is reduced. Further, when the detection element 21b is shifted to the next special position, the switch circuit device 39 transmits the second switch output, and in relation to this output, the worktable 2 is correctly set at the position where the turning quantity becomes zero.
