Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the subject polymeric compound suitable for manufacturing, e.g. color cathode ray tubes. CONSTITUTION:A polyaminostyrene (a polymer with amino group-contg. segment as the recurring unit) in an amount of 0.5g is dissolved in 10g of methanol followed by warming the resulting solution to 40 deg.C under agitation, thus obtaining the objective polymeric compound, 4-azide-2-sodium sulfonate benzaldehide (an azide group-bearing aromatic compound). In this polymeric compound, crosslinking points at photoreaction are increased, thus crosslinking reaction can be induced in high efficiency with a low level of irradiation and improves the photosensitivity of photosensitive resin compositions.
