BUILDING DESIGN CAD SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To automatically arrange electric equipments and to automatize the design of wiring for connecting them by providing a means for arranging the electric equipments based on conditions and the means for automatically wiring a joint box and the electric equipments. CONSTITUTION:The electric equipments are automatically arranged based on rules for which the conditions of the structure of a room, fittings and the electric equipments themselves are considered in an automatic equipment arrangement step. For the automatically result, correction such as the addition, movement and elimination, etc., of an installation place is performed as needed for reasons such as the taste of a customer or the like in a correction step. In an automatic wiring step, a wiring diagram for connecting the respective equipments and the joint box is automatically prepared. In a circuit changing step, the correspondence relation of the equipments and the joint box is specified again manually as needed. When the correction or circuit change is performed, whether or not inconsistency between equipment arrangement and wiring is present is checked in a consistency checking step.
