CHARGING OF RAW MATERIAL TO PALLET OF SINTERING MACHINE VIA ROTATING BODY

PURPOSE:To improve air permeability at the time of sintering and produce sintered ore with a high productivity by forming a raw material packed layer intensified in grain size segregation on the pallet of a sintering machine. CONSTITUTION:Raw materials 1 to be sintered are dispersed in the traveling direction and transverse direction of the pallet 5 by a rotating body 10 disposed near the lower position of an inclined chute 4 at the time of packing the raw materials 1 which are to be sintered and are fed out of a hopper 2 onto the pallet 5 of the sintering machine via the inclined chute 4. The raw materials 1 to be sintered of the larger grain sizes are more increasingly fed to the upstream side of the traveling direction by the inertia force of the rotating body 10 and are piled in the form of broad flow in the slope 6a of the raw material packed bed 6. The rotating body 10 radially mounted with, for example, plural vanes is used.
