Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a triboelectric charge-imparting member contg. a specified thiourea compd. in at least the surface and having satisfactory mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:This triboelectric charge-imparting member contains a thiourea compd. represented by the formula in at least the surface. In the formula, each of X, Y and Z is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl which may have a substituent, aryl which may have a substituent or acyl and at least one of X-Z is phenyl having an electron attracting group such as F, Cl, halogen-substd. alkyl or halogen-substd. aryl. This member is obtd. by dissolving or dispersing the compd. represented by the formula, coating a substrate with the resulting coating liq. by dipping, spraying or other method and carrying out drying.
