This fiber 2 is automatically and vertically movable in the perpendicular direction and the anodized pipe stock can be driven and rotated by a chucking device for chucking the inside surface of the pipe stock and, therefore, the helical measurement of the outside surface of the pipe stock in both of a circumferential direction and the perpendicular direction is possible. The measured results are taken into a computer and the degree of drying is decided by comparison with the upper limit of the moisture content. The operation is stopped in emergency when the result exceeds the upper limit value. The values are then fed back to the production line and countermeasure is taken. |
