Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To produce a boron contained stainless steel excellent in corrosion resistance and neutron absorbability used for the shield material of storage equipment and transporting container of used nuclear fuel by executing hot rolling and then rapid cooling to the cast in clad steel of three layer clad, which clads the stainless steel having the specific composition. CONSTITUTION:A cast in clad steel of three layer clad, which clads SUS316 series, 317 series stainless steel for both outer layers and an ordinary steel containing >=1% boron B for an inner layer, is produced. The three layer clad steel produced is hot rolled to a product thickness, because at executing solid solution heat treatment after hot rolling the carburizing from the ordinary steel in inner layer to the stainless steel in outer layer is caused so as to induce the degradation of corrosion resistance, it is required to secure corrosion resistance through eliminating the solid solution heat treatment. In order to generate the recrystallization of stainless steel after hot rolling, the finish rolling temp. requires to be >=900 deg.C. Also, in order to suppress the carburizing from the ordinary steel side, it is subjected to rapid cooling after hot rolling.
